South Korean Ambassador meet the State Minister for ICT

State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak had a farewell meeting with South Korean Ambassador to Bangladesh Lee Jang-kyun at his office at ICT Tower in Agargaon today. During that time, they discussed the issues in detail related to the interest of the two countries, especially the development and development of the ICT sector.

The state minister said that South Korea is a reliable friend of Bangladesh. He said we have already built digital Bangladesh. By the year 2041 as announced by the Prime Minister, we have started working on building a Smart Bangladesh based on the four main pillars of Smart Citizen, Smart Society, Smart Economy and Smart Government. Palak also expressed his optimism about getting South Korea's financial and technical support for building Smart Bangladesh and big projects related to ICT.

Ambassador Lee Jang-kyun said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and under the supervision of Prime Minister's ICT Affairs Advisor Sajeeb Wazed Joy, Bangladesh has made great progress in all sectors, including the ICT sector. The trend will go further in the coming days. Soon a delegation of South Korean e-Government will visit Bangladesh. The ambassador also shed light on the potential of Bangladesh-South Korea investment.
